The LeapPad Platinum is the next generation of learning fun. The new kids tablet boasts a 7” multi-touch screen with amazing graphics, a fast and powerful processor and a sleek design. LeapPad Platinum features a shatter-resistant screen and a sturdy frame. The 7-inch Platinum has a resolution of 1024×600 and 8GB of built-in memory for games. LeapFrog combines physical and digital play with Imagicard by combining the 7-inch LeapPad Platinum tablet with physical cards — or Imagicards — bringing physical objects to life. Leapfrog’s new learning tablet is on the list of top Christmas toys for 2015!
LeapFrog Imagicard, is a system where children that own a LeapFrog tablet can use the tablet’s camera to take pictures of special character cards. This “augmented reality” experience unlocks further lessons. LeapFrog will create over 30 interactive Imagicards when the product launches in August, with a list price of $24.99 per game. Imagicards games will include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Paw Patrol, and LeapFrog Letter Factory.
Kids can use the new Platinum tablet (available in green and purple) to access a library of over 1,000 games, apps, ebooks, and videos. The educational tablet has a seven-inch high-resolution touchscreen, a faster processor, and a kid-safe web browser for a safe wifi experience.
The child-friendly tablet is targeted at kids age 3 through 9 and will be available in July 2015 for $130.
